Knoydart wins Listed Hareeba Stakes

Knoydart today won the Listed Hareeba Stakes at Mornington, wearing the Triabit. Despite a tardy getaway from the barrier, Knoydart was able to round up his rivals and produce a withering burst of speed in the straight to win convincingly.

Darley's Paul Snowden was very pleased with the way that Knoydart was able to overcome his tardy start to register such a strong victory. Jockey Nash Rawiller was also full of praise for Knoydart, pegging him as a possible Group 1 winnder in the future.

The Stephen Theodore-trained Don’t Get Excited ran second, to complete a Triabit quinella in the race.

Shamal Wind wins Listed WJ Adams Stakes

Shamal Wind today won the Listed Robert Taranto WJ Adams Stakes by a long head at Caulfield, wearing the Triabit. Coming from last with just 400m to go, Shamal Wind was just too powerful on the line for the rest of the field.

Trianed by Robert Smerdon, and ridden nbeautifully by jockey Ryan maloney, Shamal Wind was sent out at 9/1, with the fancied runner of the race, Lord Of The Sky, starting at odds on but never really a threat. Overcoming a difficult barrier, Shamal Wind was a class above her rivals today.

Bull Point wins Group 3 Manfred Stakes

Bull Point today won the $135,000 Group 3 Manfred Stakes at Caulfield, wearing the Triabit. Tarined by Gai Waterhouse and widden by Damien Oliver, the son of Fastnet Rock won well, drawing clear to win by more than a length.

Damien Oliver was able to position Bull Point beautifully on the home turn and he was too strong for the rest of the field, drawing away toward the line. Already a Group 1 placetter, Bull Point was Oliver's choice for the race, opting for him over Prince Harada. Bull Point will probably head toward the Australian Guineas now.
